The Scotsmans Pack has an established reputation for the excellent quality of meals and it's friendly service. In fact the Scotsmans has a warm and friendly environment throughout the year.

Choice

The Scotsmans offers a delicious range of food from baguettes and sandwiches to an extensive bar menu and Specials Board which includes a creative choice of vegetarian meals. The Specials Board is updated daily, offering a-la-carté dining. A set menu can be prepared for parties of ten or more.

Preparation

We provide dishes that are pleasing to the eye, with good portion sizes and pride ourselves that everything is cooked on the premises. An experienced team of four full-time and 1 part time chef prepare the meals. The team members have between two and eight years experience as chefs.

Celebrations/ Parties/ Meetings/ Special Occasions

We can cater for small and large parties. In addition to the seated areas in the main rooms, we offer a popular private dining room which can accommodate a party of up to 20 seated people or 30 people for a buffet.

Fish

The Scotsman's fish is supplied by WM Howe & Son of Sheffield. Howe receive their fish at 4am each day, orders are made up and the Scotsmans receive their delivery mid-morning. All the Scotsmans' fish is as fresh as is possible. The fish is also identified and it's ultimate source of supply traceable. Fish is sourced from the following locations:

• Tuna - Shri Lanka
• Scallops - Scotland
• Salmon - Scotland
• Oysters - Ireland
• Sea Bass - Greece
• Bream - Greece
• Live Lobsters - Canada
• Flat fish (Turbot, Brill) - Cornwall

Fruit and vegetables

The Scotsmans' fruit and vegetables are fresh and of the highest quality, selected by our agent in Sheffield who make regular deliveries to ensure that our meals are appetizing and healthy.

Meat

The Scotsmans' meat is supplied by Purgloves of Eyam. Established in 1862, Purgloves is committed to providing the highest quality meat and poultry products and employ highly trained staff. Purgloves and EFSIS - EFSIS is the premier third party independent inspection service, providing retailers, manufacturers and caterers, throughout the world, with expert inspection of their operations and suppliers to ensure only the highest standards are maintained.
